Twenty-three miles north of Chicago’s Loop, the city of Highland Park tightly hugs beautiful Lake Michigan for nearly five miles. West from the lake, the city limits stretch to Deerfield, with Glencoe to the south and Lake Bluff, Bannockburn, Highwood and Lake Forest to the north.
